Facilities

This large nursery consists of six main rooms where the children are based. We are Ofsted registered for 85 children. There are three rooms for Under 2's and three rooms for 2-5 year olds. We have a large playground with a separate playground for babies and a woodlands area.

Children benefit from the fantastic range of outdoor activities in all weathers and are keen to explore the different outdoor play areas, in particular the woodlands, which provides them with a captivating and exciting area where they can explore nature, living things and use natural resources. Babies and young children benefit from having their own secure play area with an all over soft surface.

Older children utilise the many opportunities in the large playground. The opportunities provided are from balancing on wooden planks to making music using pots, pans and wooden spoons outside. They study bugs, plants, the weather, noises, smells, growing, sand, water, art and textures. Children also enjoy the use of bikes, scooters as well as a large slide/climbing frame.
